• Join a growing reporting team in a successful multi-manager providing accurate and relevant information servicing investment analysts and external clients; expected to work closely with other reporting analysts, investment team, developers and other relevant parties in servicing growing needs of business Job Specification • Maintenance of integrity of investment database(s) including accurate classification of information & identification and correction of errors; liaise with developers & managers to ensure information is captured correctly • Take joint responsibility of correctness and timeous distribution of internal and external retail reports, and resolving any database discrepancies • Work closely with investment analysts to ensure decision-making is based on accurate and reliable data; and attribute investment team decisions • Ensure stakeholders are provided with relevant timely reports of underlying portfolios; engage with investment team & developers to ensure reports remain accurate & relevant • Ensure marketing team are provided with relevant data to run retail & reports monthly & quarterly & build presentations • Assist in driving improvement of retail reporting structures as internal and external requirements develop Qualifications • B.Com or Business Science or other relevant degree with a major in statistics, economics or portfolio management • CIPM qualification would be advantageous Experience • Minimum 2 years prior work experience in a similar role within the asset management industry • In-depth knowledge of portfolio instruments in collective investment schemes and their appropriate classification • Spreadsheet and reporting experience essential • A quantitative degree and investment focus will be an advantage Key Competencies • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Ability to work independently • Accountability and responsibility for accuracy of work • Self-starter, take initiative and be proactive • Diligence and numeracy ability • Time management and organizational skills • Ability to meet deadlines • Willingness to learn • Passionate, ambitious and energetic Systems knowledge • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office incl.
