• To co-ordinate and deliver the end-to-end learning process, including designing, and facilitating learning interventions in partnership with management, HR and identified stakeholders. To align and integrate all learning interventions to business and talent requirements Job Specification • Engage with key individuals to identify learning objectives and requirements as aligned with the business culture and objectives • Develop learning programs to meet learning objectives • Identify learning needs and propose solutions to address learning gaps • Design and administer assessments to evaluate learning and knowledge acquired • Provide formal learning (technical and soft skills training) to new and current employees • Conduct regulatory and technical training in line with industry changes and/or requirements • Provide technical support and guidance to employees as required in assisting with queries and practical support i.e. knowledge sharing, on the job learning • Compile and update learning material, in conjunction with key stakeholder’s to ensure learning content is accurate and relevant • Conduct on-going training needs analysis to determine development areas and provide recommendations for performance management and personal development plans • Maintain knowledge of learning and development technology and tools as well as regulatory amendments and industry best practices • Co-ordinate year planner to manage learning requirements from business • Compile reports on learning interventions including analysis of data and provide feedback to senior management • Assist with regulatory reporting requirements Experience • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a learning & development or facilitator role within Collective Schemes/ Asset Management/Financial Services industry • Experience with learning and development methodologies • Knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services industry and related legislation, i.e. FICA, FAIS, RDR, TCF Qualifications • Relevant tertiary qualification • Education and Training Development Practitioner certificate/diploma i.e. OD ETDP or similar • Certified Assessor and Moderator – an advantage Key Competencies • Strong organizational and planning skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Presentation and facilitation skills • Independence and accountability • Exceptional relationship building skills • Performance and results driven • Collaborative and cooperative • Resilience • Business Acumen • Passion for development of people • Knowledge of Adult Learning processes and practices Systems knowledge • Proficient in MS Office suite • Adult learning principles and methodologies
