Overview: The UT MANCO Client Service team provides excellent levels of client service to all investors in a timely and accurate manner. Recognising its key position as the conduit between the client and the broader company operational teams. As part of the niche Finance and Recons function of the broader client service team you will be responsible for performing daily cash reconciliations as well as ensuring all unallocated cash is reported and investigated. Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform daily cash reconciliation • Ensure all unallocated cash is reported and investigated • Processing and reconciling daily payment and collection files • Ensure sufficient cash is available in the physical bank account before transfers • Arrange for intraday facility with banks where necessary • Capturing to online banking platforms or instructing via fax timeously • Perform the necessary checks to ensure transfers are debited and credited timeously and accurately after having released online payments • Follow up on unmatched or unsettled instructions to ensure quick resolution • Daily and monthly bank account reconciliations • Ensure differences are identified and resolved timeously • Ensure resolution of internal and external queries • Identify and report any payment or collection failures • Responsible for setting up and closing bank accounts as part of Fund Maintenance Key Competencies: • Highly methodical and can working within specific processes and structure • Ability to work under limited supervision • Positive team player • Enthusiastic and client centric attitude • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure • Honesty and integrity Qualifications: • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) (preferred but not essential) Skills/Competencies and experience: • Relevant experience of at least 2-3 years in a related reconciliations role within Financial Services/MANCO client service environment is essential System Exposure: • MS Office • Exposure to investment systems and workflow tools preferred
