Ian “Archie” Magill, founding member of Aquarius Recruitment, has 25 years of experience in facilitating the personal growth and career development of people through his Counselling, Coaching and Recruitment endeavours.
He has degrees in Industrial Psychology and Industrial Sociology, a Diploma in Human Resource Management and qualified as a Graphologist via a three year program with Grafex, Academy of Graphology.
Ian more recently completed a MA degree (Coaching – Professional Development) through Middlesex University and a Post graduate diploma in Transpersonal Psychology (Liverpool John Moores University). His current studies involve post-graduate certification in Mindfulness based Interventions a programme run by the Institute of Mindfulness: South Africa in conjunction with Stellenbosch University
His career started within the Financial Services industry where he spent a few years working in Investment Banks in London, UK. On returning to South Africa his career orientated to the Human Resources arena and he worked as a Student Advisor and Career Counsellor and then in Corporate Training, Coaching and Recruitment before founding Aquarius Recruitment in 1997.
