Position Name: ASSISTANT CRM

Description:

Assistant CRM - Segregated Team

 

 

Efficiently and accurately support the CRMs in the operations area with investment administration

 

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Preparation of the daily price and valuation reporting to clients
  • Preparation and checking of the quarterly SARB reporting
  • Assisting with the monthly reporting checking process
  • Assisting with the quarterly reporting checking process
  • Printing of the relevant compliance reporting at month end
  • Maintaining and checking of option embargoes at month end
  • Database and CRM system updates
  • Updating of CRM system with client static data
  • Record product price data
  • Audit confirmations
  • Preparing regulation 28 certificates
  • Providing standard audit certificates
  • Providing ad hoc data for audit requests
  • Providing internal and external auditors/actuaries with all required data
  • Cash management and cash flow processing
  • Distribution of bank statements
  • Coordinating of daily cash management process
  • Calculation of daily call placements by taking into account flows, Safex movements, settlements & bank balances
  • Processing of daily Safex electronic payments
  • Processing of daily electronic call placements
  • Processing of daily electronic cash flows
  • Processing of unitized product investment transfers
  • Monthly processing of interest payments iro call accounts
  • Updating cash flows on Investment Management System
  • Processing electronic banking transfers on electronic banking systems, such as Cats, Cashfocus and Nedinform
  • Reconciliation of pooled contributions banking accounts
  • Assisting on ad hoc projects within the team 
  • Capturing of transactions on Investment Management System
  • Instructing Management Company on transactions for unit trust investors
  • Management fees
  •  Processing of payments
  • Monitoring of outsourced administration
  • Preparation and checking bank reconciliations
  • Preparation and checking scrip reconciliations
  • Assisting with preparation and obtaining of data required for presentation purposes in the required templates.
  • Scrip lending management
  • Preparation and distribution of instructions to custodians/brokers/agents
  • Maintenance of embargoes
  • Monitoring of corporate event effects
  • Recording movements on Investment Management System
  • Position confirmations, reconciliations and reporting and upkeep of the relevant spreadsheets
  • Query resolution
  • 3rd Party confirmations
  • Monitoring and processing of collateral movements/placements
  • Checking of fees and interest relating to positions

 Requirements:

  • Portfolio administration experience preferable
  • Commerce degree or diploma (strong in accounting)
  • MSOffice, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Invest One or Decalog knowledge is an advantage
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, strong numerical skills, ability to meet deadlines

**There are future prospects of becoming a CRM**

Candidates must be strong in accounting 3 and have excellent academic results
