A dynamic and fast-growing international player in the asset managment space has an opportunity for a talented young Equity Analyst who can demonstrate sound fundamental skills and passion for the financial markets.
Role Function:
- Position within the Equity team, principally as an Equity Analyst
- The Equity Analyst will report into the Portfolio Manager who reports into the CEO
- The purpose of the role is to contribute to the rigourous fundamental analysis/research in a small equities team.
- Relevant qualifications and experience and fit with the current team critical and would override demographic background, however EE candidate preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Experience with key market analysis, modelling, researching local and international sectors. It is important that the individual has deep-dive fundamental research skills (DCF Modelling)

Qualifications and Experience:
- Appropriate finance qualification, CA(SA) or CFA II preferred
- Self-driven with 1-5 years working as an equity analyst (Generalist) in the fund management industry
- Strong communicator and team player
- Relevant computer skills and system experience
- Willingness to obtain additional qualifications if required
