| JOB DESCRIPTION | KEY PURPOSE |
| An experienced investment professional responsible for origination and execution debt and equity investments in the infrastructure and development related deals, as well as assisting the organisation in raising additional capital for infrastructure and development related funds. |
| ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE | |
| 1. | More than 7 years’ experience in Infrastructure and Development Finance and/or Impact investing |
| 2. | Experience in infrastructure Finance / Impact Investing in Sub Saharan Africa (not just SA) is highly preferable |
| 3. | Leadership and people development skills |
| 4. | Strong qualitative and quantitative valuation/analytical skills |
| 5. | Excellent problem solving, analytic ability and keen attention to detail |
| 6. | Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills |
| 7. | Excellent verbal and written communication skills. |
| 8. | A self-motivated, committed work ethic and a drive for building a business |
| 9. | Ability to perform under deadline pressure |
| 10. | Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolution |
| 11. | Flexibility to travel domestically and regionally as necessary |
| 12. | Prepare and review complex financial models and perform detailed financial analysis |
| 13. | Perform financial valuation: discounted cash flow, multiples-based or comparable-based analyses |
| 14. | ADVANCED knowledge of Office365, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint |
| DESIRABLE EDUCATION |
| · Postgraduate degree
· BCom (Accounting) or Bachelor of Business Science or similar, CA(SA) or CFA preferable |
